War is only political if you're against it?

It's almost Veteran's Day. Last year, many of us participated in Denver's Veteran's Day parade. Military Families Speak Out, Veterans for Peace, Iraq Veterans Against the War, and just ordinary supporters like me joined the rest of the vets (and Corvettes - don't ask me what they have to do with Veteran's Day) in the parade down Denver's streets. This year, the following veterans and families of soldiers will not be allowed to participate in the parade because they are "making a political statement":
Veterans for Peace
Iraq Veterans Against the War
Military Families Speak Out
Gold Star Families for Peace
Vietnam Veterans Against the War
West Point Graduates Against the War
Colorado Veterans for America
Are we seeing patterns going on around this country???

Corvettes get bad gas mileage and further our dependency on making war with oil-rich nations. They should be banned from the parade as well. That's political too!
Good point. Let me know what you get as a reply when you bring that up to the parade organizers.
